Jonathan Siebel - Writer/Director
At the age of 8, he began story-telling by writing and directing plays in his backyard. He followed these passions studying film production at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. Since then he's worked in the film and television industry doing production, camera, and accounting work. In addition, he's directed short films and countless spec commercials, one of which was featured on Chevy's Youtube page. Most recently, his feature screenplay, the Alfalfa Bee, was short-listed for the Sundance Writing Lab. Break the Will was written as a prequel to this feature, and he looks forward to bringing this film to the screen. |
Lauren Solie - Producer
After moving to LA seven years ago, Lauren has quickly established herself as a reputable producer. Lauren went to school at CSU Los Angeles where she attained her bachelors in business and masters degree in science. Beyond TV Lauren has also produced multiple music videos for artists under Warner Brothers, Capital and Universal Records (Iggy Azalea, Smashing Pumpkins, Kaskade, Tori Kelly). Her last short film was directed by J. Mackye Gruber (Butterfly Effect) and won numerous film awards. She looks forward to sharing Break The Will with her friends, family and fellow filmmakers around the world. |
Roham Rahmanian - Cinematographer
Born in Tehran and raised in Vancouver, Roham has always viewed life through the lens of a camera. After graduating from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, his background with cameras allowed him to find work as a Digital Imaging Technician for film, TV, and commercials. His passion for adventure and photography have led him to shoot and operate in the air, underwater, and everywhere in between. With his two colleagues, he founded the Astronaut's Guild, a visionary company shooting 3D and virtual reality for clients like Sony, Ferrari, and Coke. He looks forward to creating a unique and cinematic look for Break the Will. |
Brittany Bradford - Production Designer
Brittany is a Production Designer & Art Director who has established her design skills working in film & television. After earning her Master’s degree at The American Film Institute, she moved into Production Designing short films and Art Directing for film and television. As an Art Director, her film credits include Cake, The Pretty One and The Truth About Emanuel. Beyond narrative story telling she has also made a career in award & game show Art Direction on numerous television shows such as Let’s Make A Deal and Whose Line is it Anyway. Bradford’s most recent television credit is on the Disney Channels new show, Stuck in the Middle. |
Chanel Gibbons - Costume Designer
Chanel is a Los Angeles native trained as a fashion designer. She works extensively in the worlds of fashion and music videos, driven by the opportunity to bring out different personalities and unconventional aesthetics. Beyond these she has worked across the industry on short films, print campaigns, commercials & celebrity styling. She is the current fashion director of Rogue Magazine, creative directing all shoots and working with some of the most recognizable faces of today. What she loves most about costuming is her ability to create strong first impressions of characters through meticulous attention to detail. |
Tad Piecka - Composer
Tad Piecka is a musician, composer, producer, and audio engineer living in Los Angeles. He has toured the world with his post-rock band Beware of Safety as it's bass guitarist. Within the black metal community, Tad is known as Petrychor, where he independently creates black metal music laced with folk, avant-garde classical, and other musical interests. Nick Bradford - Editor
Rerouted to Los Angeles from Oklahoma six years ago, Nick Bradford is an Editor that has consistently been working in film and television ever since. From assisting Alejandro Iñârritu on The Revenant, to cutting a multitude of television shows for Discovery, National Geographic and The History Channel, Nick has developed a unique style and approach to the process of visual storytelling. |
