We still have to raise money for post-production costs, which include editing, sound design, ADR, Foley, sound mixing, color correction, and festival submission fees. Check it out for a sneak preview of the film.
Here's a quick look at the some of the moments captured during the 4 day shoot up at Big Sky Movie Ranch. It went by in a flash, and we couldn't have done it without our amazing crew. But the footage looks awesome and we're excited to be editing it shortly. Until then, check out some behind the scenes!
Today we scouted with our DP Roham Rahmanian and our Production Designer Brittany Bradford. We walked through the location discussing the look, specific shots, set dec, and furniture layout. Lots of pictures and measurements were taken! Below are some of the pics Roham snapped capturing a few of our planned shots and giving a basic idea of the look we plan to pursue. Enjoy!
Found this amazing farmhouse and barn tucked away in the rolling green hills of Simi Valley. With some love from our Production Designer, we can turn this west coast western into a proper Amish homestead. Surrounded by rolling green hills, the seclusion of this house really adds to the idea that our characters are living on the outskirts of society and dependent upon each other for their well-being.
Check back periodically for updates on production, pictures, and more. And feel free to share with anyone you think may be interested in the film.
